Right Brain Equals Euphoria!

Posted by on Dec 6, 2011 in Positive Thinking, Science, Self Help, Spirituality

Euphoria exists in the RIGHT hemisphere of your brain without the left

sides influence!

Do you ever wonder why you feel compelled to “seek” the next thing that might “trigger” the kind of change you are looking for?  Do you find yourself judging others who are not on the same “Spiritual Quest” that you may be on and wonder, how they could be so asleep, even when you are still “seeking” yourself?

What is it exactly, that drives that curiosity, that inner knowing of some miraculous answer to discovering your “perfect” life; and like a magnet, you are being drawn to investigate and journey towards that elusive peace that you may seem to know exists, but isn’t entirely yours in this moment.

Could the Right side of our brain be the key?

While there is no “proof” of anything, do you feed off the experiences of others who seem to know more than you about this “place”, this “space of being”, this enlightened view of the “truth”?   Striving to  get a closer glimpse of how it feels to have the sense of ease in your life or experience loving relationships or enough  money and other things you might not have and wish you did.  Have you ever REALLY thought about what it is that truly pushes you to explore and believe in greater possibilities and experiences?

Some think it’s pain, discomfort, grief, boredom etc.  Those are some of the symptoms that trigger the desire to change and be open to new ideas, but go even deeper when when contemplating the “why”.  Consider this possibility….The truth of it all, is and has been with you your whole life.  It’s exists in the RIGHT hemisphere of your brain without the left sides influence.  It just IS and you just ARE and are connected in the unobstructed functioning of the RIGHT side.  Am I suggesting there is no need for the left – absolutely not.  We need the analytical side of our brain to keep order in this human experience, however, can it be so that we can choose to “step to the right” on command?  See the video below to see what I’m talking about.

The reason we feel this urge to “seek” is because there is a primal KNOWING of the truth of who we are.  It’s instinctual and the further away we get from living in tune with our instinctual ways (which is pure LOVE), the more we hurt.  The more we are angry and out of balance, causing us to feel pain, disappointment, dis-ease and a sense of hopelessness in our lives.  Could it have more to do with our brain than we think?

I came across this TED video that was so incredibly moving and thought it would be nice to share it with you.  You’ll understand this blog and all this talk about the “right side of the brain” better after watching.  It will  remind you of how beautiful and powerful you are and remind you of the Creative Master that you are!  This video is 18 minutes long.  Grab a cup of tea and gift those 18 minutes to yourself.  You are worth it!

I hope you find this to be as jaw dropping and moving as I did!  I know I am going to choose to step to my right (brain), more than not, while still appreciating the left for keeping me safe in this life we call humanity.

True love is eternal, infinite, and always like itself. It is equal and pure, without violent demonstrations: it is seen with white hairs and is always young in the heart.
